Sign Dimensions started out as Cliff's Signs in 1957 by master sign painter Cliff Sipma. Through the years, the business offered quality hand lettered signage for the Napa area. In the early 70's Cliff moved the shop from it's location on Vallejo St. to it's current location at 1726 Tanen St.
Cliff retired in the mid 70's and sold the shop to an innovative sign painter named Don Ecklund. Don was a talented artist and took his creativity to a new level as he demonstrated it in the unique style of his signs.
In 1983, Don moved to New Mexico and sold Cliff's Signs to Craig Rode, the shop's current owner. In 1988, the business changed it's name from Cliff's Signs to Sign Dimensions to reflect the changing face of the sign industry. Craig learned the art of lettering and sign painting before the age of computer aided sign making and uses his knowledge of layout and design, along with today's latest technology in every sign.
